Remote access Service - Students
London Met's Information Technology Services team is pleased to launch a new remote access service for students which is available via the desktop tab on AppsAnywhere, giving you access to all the software you need on-demand, anywhere, anytime. We've introduced this exciting new technology in response to student feedback.
AppsAnywhere
AppsAnywhere is a program that allows you to access work software from your personal computer without needing to have the applications installed on your device. It is a bit like Netflix, but for software. Please refer to AppsAnywhere Guide for further information.
How the AppsAnywhere program works
With AppsAnywhere, you will have access to applications such as SPSS, Matlab, Adobe Creative Cloud, NVivo, Visual Studio and Unity, with many more being added all the time. Eventually, most of the 400+ applications available on campus will be accessible via AppsAnywhere.
AppsAnywhere Guide
To use this new software, you will need a laptop, PC or Mac; a stable internet connection; and your University username and password.
