Past Papers Database

This site is designed to provide additional support to current London Metropolitan University students and staff by making available the majority of exam papers from recent years. Your University network username and password are required to access the service. The aim is to provide a rolling three years of Year-long, Autumn and Spring Semester papers, but not reassessment papers.

Your use of the Past Exams Database is subject to the Terms of Use found at the bottom of this page.

Search for Module Code or part of the Module Code, e.g Searching on AC will return all Accounting exam papers; AC500 will find AC5001, AC5002, AC5003, etc.
Searching on a complete Module Code will return the paper(s) for that Module e.g. searching for AC5003 will return the Principles of Finance exam paper.

Papers are those that were used in the original exam, and will not contain model answers. Not all papers will be available. Academic departments may have asked for a restricted range of papers to be provided, and in some cases, sample or modified papers are provided instead of those actually used.

Some papers have been withdrawn due to copyright issues; some of these will be published later with amendments to particular questions in order to ensure compliance with copyright requirements. It is not possible to provide reasons why a particular paper is not available, but students may be assured that all students of a module have the same access at any one time to the same database, so no one can be disadvantaged.

Due to COVID, no or few exams were run in the 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years.

Students are warned against making assumptions about likely future exam papers/questions based on the material published on this site. Papers published here may or may not be useful aids to study, and must be not be seen as guidance regarding future exams. The syllabus and content of a module may have changed, so it is important to base preparation for future exams on information in the latest module handbook.

The exam papers in the database are stored as PDF files. You will need software that can read files in this format. If you cannot view the paper when you click on it, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from here. Download Acrobat Reader.
