IT help and support
During the University building closure, online IT services are still available as per normal.
A list of software is available which will help you in studying remotely and using online tools.
We are unable to host Techsmart drop-in sessions while the University buildings are closed, however, any specialist software used for your course should be working as normal. If you have problems, please log a job with the IT Self Service Portal.
Self Service Portal
Our self service portal allows you to submit your IT requests online and keep track of their progress as we work to complete them. The portal allows you to update your requests, upload attachments and advise that your requests can be closed if the matter has been resolved.

TechSmart (term-time only)
Get IT support at our TechSmart drop-in sessions. We provide advice about your devices and general IT support for students.
Visit the sessions during term-time any weekday between 9.30am and 5.30pm in the Holloway library and the Aldgate Library.

If you have a quick IT query and want an instant response click on the link below. A pop-up will appear; enter your name and click Submit. Then enter your query and click Send. A member of our support staff will reply back as soon as possible.
Please note: There is an issue with IT Help Chat when logged in to the Self Service Portal on Internet Explorer. Please use a different browser if you need to use the chat function while you are logged in.
