Fitness to Practise
Fitness to practise refers to the ability to meet professional standards. London Metropolitan University recognises that in conferring certain academic awards leading to a professional qualification, it has a duty to ensure the fitness of students for practise and registration with the relevant Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB).
The primary purpose of the Fitness to Practise Policy is to safeguard members of the public and to maintain public confidence in the professions covered by the policy.
