Personal Student Coaches
Personal Student Coach (PSC)
From September 2021, as part of our commitment to partnering students, every undergraduate and postgraduate student at London Metropolitan University will be allocated a Personal Student Coach (PSC).
This academic member of staff will support you throughout the full duration of your studies, playing a key and proactive role in both your transition to University life and then through every stage of your journey to graduation. As an integral part of the student experience, your PSC will enable you to better engage and succeed in your studies, establish yourself as part of the London Met community, and achieve your full potential.
Engagement with your PSC
Your PSC will be assigned to you shortly after enrolment. You will then meet with your PSC either digitally or face-to-face four times each year; twice in a group and twice individually.
During these meetings, your PSC will help nurture your affiliation and belonging within your subject area and University community by providing a caring, non-judgmental environment. Your PSC may also signpost you to support service expertise where appropriate.
