Just a brief explanation of what is a student society:
Societies are groups of students who share a common interest and provide unique opportunities for you to meet like-minded people, have fun, make friends and gain new skills. Societies are major part of student life at London Met, and becoming a member is the best way to get involved with the things that interest you especially if you're looking to take up a new hobby or just want to have fun, or enhance your employability skills.
London Met Students' Union provide help and support for the societies including training and advice. There is also funding available for society events and activities.
Sustainability Team will also provide ongoing support helping to get external speakers and give advice as well as involve society in activities such as Green Week.
