Temporary closure for the Tower reception

Temporary closure for the Tower reception

The main Tower reception, based at our Holloway Road campus, will be closing for two weeks while we undergo refurbishment works. The works will run alongside the scaffolding removal works and is part of our plans to upgrade and improve our campus for all who use it.

When is this happening?

From Monday 3 September – Friday 14 September, you will be unable to use this reception as an entry or exit point for the University.

How do I get into the campus?

The Rocket reception will be open and will be the ‘main entrance’ for the campus during this period. This reception will be staffed at all times.

The Rocket reception will be open between 8am-9pm Monday-Friday and 8am-3pm on Saturday. The campus is closed on a Sunday.

Why is this happening?

We have allocated some of our resources to improve the look and feel of the reception making it a more attractive space for students, staff, prospective students, prospective colleagues, and any other visitor.

When will the Tower reception open again?

The Tower reception is scheduled to reopen on Monday 17 September at 8am.

What will this achieve?

We are painting the reception, replacing the external branding and installing new furniture which will make the reception more attractive to all who use it.

How you can help

Please spread the word to colleagues and any students you think may want access to the campus during this period and advise that the Rocket entrance will be open for use.
