Barbara Reissner - Student Money and Accommodation Adviser
Barbara is an Advisor within the Student Money and Accommodation team, supporting students with financial and housing queries. She wants students to know that all questions are welcome, and she will always do her best to find the right support or connect them with someone who can help.
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys playing tennis to stay active and meet new people. She starts her day with coffee and switches to tea in the afternoon.

David Cowen - Disabilities and Dyslexia Service Manager
David leads the Disabilities & Dyslexia Service (DDS), working closely with students to make sure they receive the support and adjustments they need to thrive at university. He encourages students to get in touch with confidence, emphasising that DDS is a friendly and approachable team who genuinely look forward to hearing from them. Outside of work, David enjoys watching The Wire, which ranks as one of his favourite TV series. And when it comes to refreshments, it's Yorkshire decaf all the way.

Eloise Peters - Student Money and Accommodation Adviser
Eloise is an advisor in the Student Money and Accommodation team, supporting students with funding queries and helping them understand the financial support available during their studies. Her favourite part of the role is assisting students with their funding questions and making sure they feel supported when navigating financial matters at university.
Outside of work, Eloise enjoys running in the park, which she finds a great way to relax and stay active. She is definitely a coffee drinker and enjoys starting her day with a good cup of coffee.

Mark Uchiha - Counselling Service Manager
Mark leads the Counselling Service, supporting students to access the right help at the right time. He finds real meaning in knowing the service can make a difference when it matters most. Mark reassures students that no concern is too small - if it matters to you, it matters to the team.
Outside of work, Mark has a strong interest in self-improvement, from learning new languages to continuing professional development and stepping outside his comfort zone. A former professional athlete once considered a future Olympian, he now enjoys quieter weekends spent with a good book, thought-provoking conversation and good company. When it comes to drinks, tea wins every time.
Paul Guyver - Deputy Head of Student Services
Paul is Deputy Head of Student Services and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in students' lives. He encourages students not to let difficulties escalate and to seek support early, reassuring them that there are no questions they should feel worried about asking. If he doesn't have the answer, he'll make sure to connect students with someone who does.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys photography and art, with his work having featured in several exhibitions. He has also written and performed music for many years, and once had one of the Beatles watch him perform. A self-confessed night owl, Paul doesn't drink tea or coffee, but he'll always appreciate a really corny dad joke.

Robert Everett - Student Money and Accommodation Manager
Robert leads the Student Money and Accommodation team, supporting students with financial guidance and housing matters. He encourages students never to feel embarrassed about asking for advice, emphasising that his team is there to listen, advise and support without judgement.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys angling, particularly carp fishing. He's also a fan of the Star Wars saga, with The Empire Strikes Back being his favourite. A confessed early bird, he starts his days with a strong coffee.

Umama Tareen - Disabilities and Dyslexia Advisor
Umama is a Disabilities and Dyslexia Advisor who supports students in navigating their academic journey with confidence. She wants students to know that they don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out - even showing up with half a question is more than enough to start the conversation.
Outside of work, Umama enjoys playing badminton because sometimes running after a tiny birdie is exactly what you need. She is a night owl but is slowly learning to become an early riser.
Wahida Jebi - Disability and Dyslexia Advisor
Wahida is a Disability and Dyslexia Advisor who is passionate about supporting students throughout their university journey. Her favourite part of the role is seeing students flourish and grow in confidence as they navigate their studies.
Outside of work, Wahida enjoys spending time in nature and going on long walks, finding it a great way to reset and recharge. A confessed tea girlie, some of her favourite blends include Rooibos and Butterfly Pea Petal tea.
Yetunde Otuwehinmi - Counsellor (Engagement)
Yetunde is a Counsellor (Engagement) who supports students in their personal and academic journeys. She is passionate about student success and finds it deeply rewarding to support learners both individually and in group settings as they build foundations for personal growth and achieve their academic goals.
Outside of her role, Yetunde enjoys reading books from a wide variety of authors, which allows her to explore different perspectives and stories.
