Study seat and computer booking


Both libraries will reopen on Monday 12 April.

Please check the library opening hours before booking a computer or study seat.

Please note that Aldgate Library is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am to 3pm only.

The libraries have socially distanced computers and study seats available for you to book online. All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance of travel to campus. Please clean your study area before and after use with the available wipes.

Booking a computer

Please book from the start of your booking until 5:45pm for Holloway Library and until 2:45pm for Aldgate Library, even if you only need it for one or two hours. If you do not log into the PC, 60 minutes after your booking, this PC will be released for other users.

You must book at least 24 hours and up to seven days in advance. You can book a maximum of three bookings at a time. If you need to take a break during your booking, please LOCK the computer using Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but do not log off or switch off the computer as this will end your booking for the day.

Holloway Library has 54 computers available Monday to Saturday.

Ground Floor 10 PCs, Mezzanine 16 PCs, 1st Floor 28 PCs.

Aldgate Library has 12 PCs and 10 Macs on the third floor available, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.

 Booking a study seat

You can book a study seat in either library

  • Holloway Library: Monday to Saturday (9am-1pm or 1.30pm-5.30pm)
  • Aldgate Library: Monday, Wednesday or Fridays only (11am-3pm)

You must book at least 24 hours and up to 14 days in advance. You will receive email confirmation of your booking for the time being.

Log in to book a study seat and follow these 4 simple steps!

  1. Select Service (HOL - Holloway and ALG - Aldgate)
  2. Select Time (AM/PM) for Holloway Library only. Aldgate library bookings are for 11am-3pm
