Starter Support Bursary - Redeeming your option

Details on how to redeem your option

This year we introduced a financial package to help you on your Higher Education journey. We've offered all new undergraduate Home and EU full-time students £150 in vouchers to support you as you enter your studies.

Applications for the Starter Support Bursary is now closed. The deadline was 1st March 2019.

This scheme is only available to new undergraduate, full-time, UK/EU students who enrolled with us in academic year 18/19.

Please note that all communication has been sent to your university email address.

All options are reedemable now and must be collected by 29th March 2019.

Here’s how to redeem:

1. You don’t have to do anything!
2. You will be allocated £150 credit automatically.
3. You will receive email confirmation when the credit has been applied.

Here’s how to redeem:

1. You don’t have to do anything!
2. John Smith's will set up your account.
3. You will receive two separate emails from John Smith's confirming your login details and credit of your account when set up.

Please follow the instructions given in the John Smith's emails to access the account and funds.

Here’s how to redeem:

1. Complete the Form.
2. You will receive a bacs payment to your nominated bank account.

PLEASE NOTE: any incorrect information submitted or failure to produce a receipt of payment of childcare expenses may result in a delay to your payment. Documents should be clear and have your name listed.

Please allow 10 working days for payments to reach your account.

You will receive two Oyster cards preloaded with £75 each of adult rate pay as you go credit.

Here’s how to redeem:

1. You will receive a separate email confirming your Oyster cards are ready for collection.
2. Bring your student ID and confirmation email to the collection point (your cards will not be issued without these).
3. Sign a declaration.
4. Register the Oyster cards as soon as you can at the Tfl Oyster page (Security question answer: this has been provided via email).
5. See the TfL - Oyster Registration Guide  for how to register your cards.

London Met will not issue any replacements if your cards are lost or stolen so please ensure you register your cards on the TfL Oyster page.

You will receive one Met Card preloaded with £150 credit to be used at all food outlets on campus excluding The Rocket.

Here’s how to redeem:

1. You will receive a separate email confirming your Catering card is ready for collection.
2. Bring your student ID and confirmation email to the collection point (your card will not be issued without these).
3. Sign a declaration.

London Met will not issue any replacements if your card is lost or stolen.
