Regulations for the use of IT, Library And Media Resources, Services and Facilities
London Metropolitan University makes certain media and IT equipment ("Equipment") available for short term loan by students and staff ("Loan"). This document explains the terms and conditions apply to any such loan.
This document serves to give non-mandatory advice on the effective use of social media and how users can better protect themselves online. It is a companion document to the University's Social Media Policy.
Staff and students are expected to be aware of and adhere to the expectations of this policy and other relevant University policies and procedures which apply in this context, particularly the Acceptable Use Policy, Information Protection (Security) Policy, Equality and Diversity Policy, Harassment Policy, Student Conduct, and Disciplinary Procedure.

The telephone line is open 24/7, 365 days a year including weekends and public holidays.
Between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays, the phones are answered by London Met IT staff. An out-of-hours service is provided by NorMAN, operated by University of Northumbria at Newcastle.
Online chat is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 term time (excluding public holidays).
