Artists’ Books are books made and produced by artists or hobbyists. They come in many shapes and forms and are a form of contemporary art. They incorporate a full spectrum of artistic talents: printmaking, bookbinding, and other artistic expressions. Artists' books address diverse subjects and ideas and are produced in limited edition. They are unique examples that display the artistic expression of the artists or hobbyists and make a visual impact for their design and production. Our Artists' Books are on open access in the Special Collections Reading Room. There is no need for students or staff to book an appointment to see them. It is however advisable for external visitors to book an appointment.
